Matters that do not require arriving at the reading room can be handled by

The Library accepts orders for copies of printed materials, i.e. scientific articles and fragments of books in the form of scans.

Readers interested in receiving a scan of the publication are asked to send relevant bibliographic information to the address

We encourage you to use the electronic resources of the Library through the HAN server.

We provide assistance in obtaining materials from the electronic version of European Pharmacopoeia ed.10 and 
The United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
A maximum of 4 users can stay in the reading room at the same time.

The library's visit book maintains a user register for sanitary and epidemiological purposes.

It is necessary to keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between people in the reading room.

Before entering, you should disinfect your hands and put a mask on your nose and mouth.





We encourage you to use the United States Pharmacopoeia online. 
Access to the publication is possible from computers in the reading room (login with password assigned to the Library of the Faculty of Pharmacy).





We remind you:  European Pharmacopoeia Online, ed. 10, 2020 is  available!

NOTE! The access to publications is now possible for only 200 users.

In order to use the current edition, please:

  • create an individual account, providing the email address from the domain;

  • and send the registered username - email address to to authorize, providing the subject of the email: "Activation of the European Pharmacopoeia".

Then the user will receive an automatic confirmation to his email address that their account was activated.




 We are pleased to announce that starting from June 7, 2021 the new system of remote access to the library e-resources from the outside of the university network will be implemented.

The currently used authorization system via proxy server will be shut off and replaced by the HAN system.

Access to the new system will be automatically granted to all students of the MUG who have an active Library account and no arrears to the Library.
To log in to the system you only need to enter your Library card number and password to the Library account.
No additional registration form or web browser configuration is needed.

In order to avoid problems related to the access to the Library e-resources after the June 7th, we kindly ask you to log in to your Library account before the mentioned date and check or update your data. Please check also if there is no overdue book in your account:

Regulations of collecting personal data in Medical University of Gdańsk

Due to the entry into force of The Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) the Main Library informs that:

1. The administrator of your personal data is Medical University of Gdańsk based in Gdańsk, Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 3A, 80-210 Gdańsk,

Your personal data will be processed using the Tricity Libraries IT System (Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music, Gdynia Maritime University, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Medical University of Gdansk, Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport, European Solidarity Centre) in order to enable the use of library resources on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 lit. A of the general regulation of personal data of 27 April 2016,

4. Your personal data will not be disclosed to other entities, except for entities authorized under the law, debt collection companies or companies supporting IT services,

5. Your personal data will be kept for a period required by law,

6. You have the access to the content of your data, the right to demand rectification them, the right to remove or limit of their use, the right to transfer them, the right to post an objection in relation to their processing and the right to withdraw legal consent at any time,

7. You have the right to make a complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection, if it is justified that your personal data are processed by the administrator in breach of the general regulation of personal data of 27 April 2016,

8. Providing personal data is voluntary, however, the refusal to provide them may result in the refusal to provide the service.
