We remind you:  European Pharmacopoeia Online, ed. 11 is  available!

NOTE! The access to publications is now possible for only 200 users.

In order to use the current edition, please:

  • create an individual account, providing the email address from the domain gumed.edu.pl;

  • and send the registered username - email address to biblioteka.bazy@gumed.edu.pl to authorize, providing the subject of the email: "Activation of the European Pharmacopoeia".


Then the user will receive an automatic confirmation to his email address that their account was activated.

2022-12-10 HAN - remote access to the library e-resources from the outside of the university network

The previously used Proxy system of  is disabled and replaced by the HAN system.

Access to the new system is automatically granted to all students of the MUG who have an active Library account and no arrears to the Library.
To log in to the system you only need to enter your Library card number and password to the Library account.
No additional registration form or web browser configuration is needed.

In order to avoid problems related to the access to the Library e-resources after the June 7th, we kindly ask you to log in to your Library account before the mentioned date and check or update your data. Please check also if there is no overdue book in your account:

2022-09-29 First-year students - activation of library accounts

 Library accounts of all first-year students will be activated on September 30 at 3 pm.

From that time, it will be possible to log into one's library account and order books via the MUG Main Library catalogue online. 
Login data:

login - 55000 + student ID's number
password - date of birth (YYMMDD)

While collecting books at the Lending Unit, you must show your student ID card - it is your library card as well.

2022-02-11 Access to the full version of United States Pharmacopeia online has not been extended to 2022

 We regret to inform you that access to the full version of United States Pharmacopeia online has not been renewed for 2022. Only the COVID19 information remains available. Access to these publications is available from the reading room computers (login with the password assigned for the Pharmaceutical Faculty Library).

2021-04-21 New rules for the users of the Library

 

Due to the state of the epidemic and the new national regulations introduced - from March 23, 2021, the work organization of the Library of the Faculty of Pharmacy will change.

Contact with the librarian on duty is possible from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Library accepts orders for copies of printed materials, i.e. scientific articles and fragments of books in the form of scans.

Readers interested in receiving a scan of the publication are asked to send relevant bibliographic information to the address biblfarm@gumed.edu.pl

We encourage you to use the electronic resources of the Library through the Proxy server.

We provide assistance in obtaining materials from the electronic version of European Pharmacopoeia 10.2 and 
The United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
 
 
In urgent cases, it is possible to use the library's collection after prior arrangement of the date of the visit to the reading room via  biblfarm@gumed.edu.pl 
 
 
A maximum of 2 users can stay in the reading room at the same time.

The library's visit book maintains a user register for sanitary and epidemiological purposes.

It is necessary to keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between people in the reading room.

Before entering, you should disinfect your hands and put a mask on your nose and mouth.
 
 
 

 

2019-10-30 MUG with the status of research university

 

2019-05-07 ELECTRONIC REQUEST FORM - new facility in Reading Rooms of the Main Library

 

We created an electronic request form for ordering books or archival magazines from the stack. This new facility is active from May 1, instead of a traditional paper request form.

In order to book items from the Library stack to the reading room:

  1. find them via the online catalogue,
  2. click on 'Order to the reading room',
  3. fill in an electronic request form.


REMEMBER! In case of magazines, you should also add information about the year, volume and issue of the item you are looking for.

 

   

 
Ordered items will be available in the Reading Room 1 in 20 minutes and will be waiting there for the next 2 days.

 Due to the entry into force of The Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) the Main Library informs that:

  1. The administrator of your personal data is Medical University of Gdańsk based in Gdańsk, Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie 3A, 80-210 Gdańsk,

  2. The Data Protection Inspector in Medical University of Gdańsk is Piotr Małecki (iod@gumed.edu.pl),

  3. Your personal data will be processed using the Tricity Libraries IT System (Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music, Gdynia Maritime University, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Medical University of Gdansk, Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport, European Solidarity Centre) in order to enable the use of library resources on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 lit.
